We had 1 sump pump , but our basement still got water in heavy rains . Tim and Louis did a great job installing a 2nd sump pump and connecting the discharge line to the existing water drainage pipe . Very professional cleaned up afterwards .

After a thorough inspection, our team recommended installing a French drain ( GrateDrain ) along the perimeter of the basement to direct water away from the foundation, along with a sump pump ( GrateSump ) to efficiently pump out any water that might accumulate. Here’s how we approached the project: 1. French Drain Installation: We began by digging a trench along the affected area of the basement floor. A French drain was installed in the trench, featuring our GrateDrain system that allows water to flow into the drain, preventing it from pooling on the floor. The drain was then connected to a sump pit. 2. Grate Sump Pump Installation: A high-efficiency 1/3hp sump pump was installed in the sump pit, designed to pump any collected water out of the basement and away from the foundation. This ensures that the basement remains dry, even during heavy rains or high groundwater levels. 3. Sealing and Finishing Concrete : Once the drainage system was in place, we sealed any cracks or gaps in the basement walls to prevent further moisture infiltration. The area was then cleaned, leaving the homeowners with a dry, safe, and functional basement. Our Jamison team designed a solution that would address both the source of moisture and the need for better air quality in the home: 1. Crawl Space Cleanout: • To begin, we thoroughly cleaned out the crawl space, removing any debris, dirt, and organic material. Installation of a Moisture Barrier: • We installed a high-quality moisture barrier across the entire crawl space floor and walls.
