The challenges we faced were extending all the downspouts under the front walkway, which involved having to cut through solid concrete pads.

To address this, Project Manager Steve Custus went out to meet with the new homeowners. Steve explained how a basement leaks and that the first step to having a dry basement is getting all the water away from the foundation by extending all the roof gutters to the rear of the yard and ensuring proper grading. Project Manager Steve and his crew completed this project in about 7 hours, and the impact it will have on the basement will be enormous.

Then our senior foreman, Ken McKnight, went out to install the job, and he and his crew were quick and efficient. They installed our patent Grate Trench to protect the basement from any water coming in at the back door, which connects to our Grate-Drain system that channels the water below the slab to our very efficient Grate Sump. Now the homeowners can get the basement refinished. Problem solved.
