The challenges we faced were the structural repair work and the small crawl space to work within.

To address this, Steve proposed a full perimeter GrateDrain drainage system that offers a lifetime warranty and is transferable to the next homeowners, which was especially important as she was planning to put her house on the market soon. An airtight Grate Sump pump was installed to replace their open sump pit hole, along with a crawl space encapsulation system and structural repair to turn the crawl space into dry, usable space. By doing so, Mrs. Opalisky turned 2000 square feet into dry usable space, therefore increasing the value of her home.

Project Manager Steve went out to meet with the property owner and noticed right away that they had a few different problems going on . One was high humidity plus and open Sump pit with standing water that was humidifying the air plus it was signs of water seepage at the back door area so right away he recommended grate channel at the back door and a Grate Sump which is a air-tight Sump basin . Plus we treated the Basement walls with a mold removal paint than coated them with a mold resistant paint . We also installed a partial drainage system with Vapor Barrier to channel ground water to the Grate Sump .

We Proposal a closed Drainage system a long all outside walls with a Grate Sump with a entryway drain to capture water coming into the basement from a leaky belico door . Once our project manager showed the client how efficient our drainage system works it was a no brainer that they do business with us . Now the Homeowners have a Dry Basement !

The challenge we faced was that it was a finished basement, so we had to remove the sheetrock and studding to get to the foundation wall.

To address this, Project Manager Steve went out to meet with the homeowner and explained the whole process from top to bottom. The homeowner was very happy with our solution over the rest. Then our senior foreman, Ken McKnight, went out to install the job, and he and his crew were quick and efficient. They installed our patent Grate Trench to protect the basement from any water coming in at the back door, which connects to our Grate-Drain system that channels the water below the slab to our very efficient Grate Sump. Now the homeowners can get the basement refinished. Problem solved.

Steve was the project Manager on this one so he went out to meet with Frank . Frank pretty much knew what he wanted so him and Steve came up with the solution of installing Vapor Barrier that will drain down into franks existing systems turning his system into a closed Waterproofing system .

Because the basement was finished and had a tile floor, we had to be very careful so that damage would be minimal.

To address this, Project Manager Steve went out and met with Kim. Steve recommended a closed drainage system that would capture water at the floor-wall joint and channel it to the existing sump pump. The Grate-Drain drainage system offers a lifetime warranty that is also transferable to the next homeowners. Now Kim can put her house on the market without fear of losing value because of a wet basement. Problem solved.
