Project manager Steve Custus went out to give the homeowners a free estimate. Steve recommended a full perimeter (Closed ) Drainage system called (Grate-Drain ) the GrateDrain Drainage is the most efficient and healthiest Drainage system on the market, with inspection ports at ever turn this system is extremely effective. The GrateDrain system will drain the water under the basement slap to the Grate-Sump with is a closed Sump pump Basin with a Fast Sump that can remove 2400gallons a hour . The Grate-Sump also comes with an Back up inverter for 24hour protection against pump failure . We also installed a sealed vapor barrier on the walls that will drain any wall leaks down into the GrateDrain system , the vapor will ensure the homeowners that their finish basement will be protected from future wall leaks . Project Manager Steven Custus came out to do a full Basement inspection and that resulted in a ( Closed) basement waterproofing drainage system that resolved all water related issues. The system included 126 ft. of a sub-floor (French drain ) rested in front of the foundation footer where water would routinely leak called ( Grate-Drain) . The GrateDrain system was placed around the full perimeter of the entire basement with clean-out ports for future inspection of the system . We also installed a moisture vapor barrier on the walls to protect the future finished basement from any wall leaks. Since the basement was large and water seepage was significant, a Grate-Sump sump was installed which can handle 2400 gallons of water per hour yes 2400 per hour ! The water will be pump away from the foundation and the basement will stay dry . At Jamison Basement Waterproofing we use the most state of the art Drainage system to ensure all our customers a Dry Basement for the life of the home ..

The challenges we faced were having to get this job done as soon as possible so the property owners would not lose any other deals due to the wet basement.

Because of the recent rain, our Project Manager and the property owner were able to see which corner of the basement the water was seeping into and come up with a quick fix to get the home back on the market. He proposed a new Grate Sump with a partial GrateDrain drainage system to guarantee that the basement stays dry in the area we treated, and the solution is transferable to the next homeowners.

Within two days, the property owner and realtor were able to get the house back listed now that the basement waterproofing issue had been solved.

He recommended a Grate- Sump basin with a built in pump stand , air-tight sump lid with a floor drain and because of the high water levels he recommended a higher capacity Sump pump with a dual float switch to ensure them they won't have another issue when it comes to the Sump pump.

To address this, we installed a Grate Sump with an airtight lid, a 1/3 horsepower Fast Sump, and a built-in pump stand to capture groundwater seepage, with the discharge line running to the back of the yard.
