Professional Basement Waterproofing and Crawl Space Repair in East Lansdowne, PA

East Lansdowne, PA is recognized for its historic homes, diverse community, and convenient location near Philadelphia's cultural and recreational attractions. While the borough's early 20th-century architecture adds charm and character, many homes throughout East Lansdowne can still face basement moisture problems and foundation concerns as older construction materials and changing soil conditions continue to age over time.

At Jamison Basement Waterproofing, we provide trusted waterproofing and structural repair services tailored to the specific needs of East Lansdowne homeowners. Basement leaks, damp walls, musty odors, excess humidity, and settling foundations are often caused by poor drainage around the home, hydrostatic pressure beneath the foundation, or weakened structural components below grade. Our team performs detailed inspections to identify the root of the issue and installs reliable systems designed to provide long-term protection against water intrusion and structural damage.

Homes in East Lansdowne are exposed to humid summers, freezing winter temperatures, and regular rain and snowfall throughout the year. These seasonal weather changes can cause the surrounding soil to shift repeatedly, placing pressure on basement walls and foundation floors. If moisture issues are ignored, they can eventually contribute to mold growth, wood rot, cracked foundation walls, unpleasant odors, and worsening structural deterioration inside the home.

Our experienced waterproofing professionals offer a complete range of services, including sump pump installation, interior basement drainage systems, crawl space encapsulation, foundation crack repair, exterior waterproofing, moisture control systems, and structural stabilization solutions. Every waterproofing strategy is customized to fit the condition, layout, and long-term needs of the property to ensure dependable results.

For more than 35 years, Jamison Basement Waterproofing has helped homeowners across the region maintain dry, safe, and healthier homes. As a family-owned and operated company, we are committed to providing honest recommendations, experienced craftsmanship, and reliable customer care backed by decades of basement waterproofing and foundation repair expertise.

Project Manager Tim Pronesti conducted a comprehensive inspection of the client’s basement to assess ongoing moisture concerns. During his evaluation, Tim identified elevated humidity levels and signs of moisture intrusion along the walls and floor.

Based on his findings, Tim recommended a two-part solution:

  1. Installation of a high-volume dehumidifier to continually control humidity and maintain a dry, healthy environment.
  2. Application of a moisture-blocking coating on both the basement walls and floor to prevent water seepage, protect structural materials, and improve overall appearance.

This combined approach not only provides the homeowner with a cleaner, more attractive basement, but also delivers long term protection by reducing moisture levels and helping preserve the integrity of the foundation walls.

If you live in the Philadelphia area and have crumbling basement walls please don't hesitate to reach out to us at Jamison Basement Waterproofing ....

Certified Crawlspace design specialist Steven Custus went out to do a full inspection this crawlspace. And from his findings he came up with the solution of to removed the debris and sprayed a Mold treatment to prep for the Crawlspace encapsulation. But first To direct water out of the crawl space, Jamison installed a new GrateSump pump. If water enters the crawl space, it flows beneath the CleanSpace liner, across drainage matting into the drainage system to the sump pump. The SuperSump then pumps the water out of the space through a discharge line 15ft away from the house. We also removed the rotted wood supports and installed steel piers for proper support. Than the durable 16 mil thick liner made of many layers of polyester cord reinforcement. Mechanically fastened on the walls and florof the crawl space . The CrawlSheild provides a barrier for any water that may enter the Crawlspace space. One of the greatest top benefits of CrawlSheild is the antimicrobial additive manufactured into the liner. This odorless and safe additive prevents mold growth on the inside of the liner. This crawl space is no dry useable for many years to come . Thanks to the Crawlspace professionals at Jamison Basement Waterproofing. Crew Foreman: Dwight Custus Project Manager Steve Custus
