The challenge we faced was installing the egress window neatly and cleanly in such a way that we could reinstall the finished wall and make it look like we were never there.

To address this, we installed a new code-compliant egress window and then refinished the wall with new sheetrock, studs, and trim, completing the job from start to finish.
