Basement Waterproofing & Foundation Repair in Oaklyn

The challenge we faced was that water was coming up through the floor where an old sump pit had been covered over.

To address this, we installed a new Fast Sump with a 1/3 HP pump. We also painted a few areas on the wall where the paint was peeling to give it a clean look, and we did not charge him for the paint touch-up.

The challenges we faced were that, because it was a church, we had to install the job on a Saturday, and the pump dig was extremely hard because it was all stone, but we got it done.

To address this, Project Manager Steve proposed a GrateDrain drainage system with a new Grate Sump on the one wall where the water was seeping in. We also installed a 4-foot-high vapor barrier to protect against wall leaks and direct any wall seepage into the perimeter drainage system. Now the church can use their lunch room again.

The challenges we faced were removing all the finished material to access the foundation floor-wall joint.

To address this, we installed a full perimeter GrateDrain drainage system with a full FinishShield vapor barrier on the walls and a GrateSump.

Working in Philadelphia is always tough because of the small basements and difficult parking.

To address this, Project Manager Steven Custus provided the customer with a Level 1 Healthy Basement Certificate. This consisted of a partial GrateDrain drainage system and also included a dual GrateSump liner with double 1/3 HP FastSump pumps.

Now the homeowners have a dry basement thanks to Jamison Basement Waterproofing.
