The challenge we faced was that it was a pretty tough pump dig, but besides that, everything went smoothly.

To address this, we installed a Grate Sump with an airtight lid, a 1/3 horsepower Fast Sump, and a built-in pump stand to capture groundwater seepage, with the discharge line running to the back of the yard.

The challenge in this home was a heavily leaking basement foundation.

First, Dave went out to meet with the new clients. After hearing them out, Dave recommended installing a full perimeter drain system called GrateDrain to capture the groundwater coming in from the floor and wall joint. The GrateDrain system was a great solution to major groundwater seepage problems, as it channels all the groundwater to the GrateSump, which can remove 2400 GPH.

Finally, the installation crew came out, and after 3 days, the job was completed and ready for the next heavy rainfall.

Jamison Basement Waterproofing install a 16 millimeter 6 layer plastic that will be very tough to tear or rip the Crawlspace encapsulation will reduce humidity and the dimple board floor drainage matting will allow water to flow to the Sump pump freely . The Grate Sump can-remove up to 2400 gallosof water an hour from the crawlspace to ensure the new homeowners that their crawlspace will remain dry for many years .. The challenge we faced was that this basement had a wide footer, so we had to break out a little bigger than usual.

To address this, we installed a full perimeter drainage system along with a sump pump with water backup, and we dug the discharge line underground 10 feet away from the home for proper drainage.
