Project Manager Steve C provided the clients with a Custom Level 1 Healthy Basement Certificate. This consisted of a sealed full perimeter GrateDrain (drainage system ) moisture blocking coating on the walls ,We also installed a dual chambered GrateSump liner with a single 1/3hp FastSump pump with a high water alarm. We also installed a high efficiency dehumidifier to keep the humidity in the basement below 50%. A new radon system to go along with new glass block windows . Last we coated the floor with a moisture blocking epoxy..

Jamison Basement Waterproofing installed a closed sub floor drainage (Grate Drain) system on the 3 perimeter walls to protect the basement from ground water seepage. We also installed a moisture vapor on the walls to protect the future finish basement from any wall leaks . To ensure that the basement would never flood even during a power outages we installed a back up inverter . Last but not least to control the moisture in the basement and to protect against mold growth we installed a high volume high efficient dehumidifier to keep the humidity below 50% . The project manager Steve Custus was on sight throughout the whole project and crew Foreman Dwight Custus ran the job . The end results Wes another dry basement all ready to be finished in the near future.

13year Basement specialist Steve Custus visited the homeowner and discussed waterproofing options and plans with the Homeowner. Steve was patient and thorough, he explained how each product would help the basement stay dry all the time . The Grate Sump and Grate Drain will take care of the ground water and the moisture vapor barrier will protect the basement from wall seepage. The installation crew installed a vapor barrier on the basement walls. The moisture vapor barrier is made with a thick plastic that keeps moisture out of the basement , and also prevents mold growth and wall rot. We also applied a Waterproofing coating to the foundation walls were we didn’t install a drainage system . Now the homeowner can use the basement for storage without fear of things getting ruined ... Project manager Steve C went out to do a free basement inspection . Steve C provided the homeowners with a healthy Basement level 1 . We installed the GrateDrain drainage system ( French Drain ) at the floor wall joint where ground water was seeping in the basement. We install inspection ports along the GrateDrain system so we can access it in case of a problem, but it's rare for the system to clog and the GrateDrain system has large drain openings to prevent clogs. The GrateDrain system will drain the ground water to the GrateSump and the GrateSump will pump the water into the sewer Line , which is code in Philadelphia. Now the homeowner has a dry basement !
