We provided the new homeowners with a level 1 Healthy Basement Certificate. This consisted of a primary 1/3hp GrateSump pump and a full perimeter GrateDrain (Closed ) drainage system .. Far as structural support gore project manager Steve Custus recommended carbon fiber straps to take the load off of the block foundation. Project manger Steve Custus went out to take a look at the problem and discovered that the water was seeping into this basement through the wall-floor seam. To correct this issue, GrateDrain system to drain groundwater to a GrateSump sump pump before the water can reach the basement interior. Also we installed full vapor barrier to protect against any wall leaks, Steve also noticed a window rotted so he recommend replacing with a new Glassblock window . The challenge we faced was getting this project installed within a week because the new tenants were moving in.

To address this, we provided him with a Level 2 Healthy Basement Certificate. This consisted of a partial GrateDrain drainage system along the front wall with a vapor barrier. We also installed a FastSump pump system that can pump 2400 gallons of water per hour.

Project Manager Steve Custus went out and talk things over with the new homeowners and to bring the high levels of moisture down he recommended a high volume high efficient dehumidifier. We also coated the walls in floor with a moisture blocking concrete paint . To give the Basement a nice clean finish look !

We provided the homeowners with an air-tight heavy duty crawlspace encapsulation system the will reduce moisture/ Radon gas and bugs entering their home through the dirt crawlspace.
