3 - 4inches of water in the lower part of the basement during heavy rains. The homeowners talked to different contractors and they recommended having a professional Basement Waterproofing company come out to fix the problem . So that's when they gave us a call at Jamison Basement Waterproofing.

Solutions provided:

The challenge we faced was that it was raining on the day of installation, so water was filling up the basement while we were fixing the problem.

To address this, Project Manager Ed recommended a Grate-Drain drainage system with a new Grate Sump in the low spot to capture the groundwater seepage and discharge the water into the sewer according to Philadelphia code. As shown in the photos, after our system was installed, the basement began to dry up almost immediately.
