They have done an excellent job with the sump pump in my Mt. Airy home. Works great. Recently done a renovation of my basement and the contractor said they did a great job with the cement work. Most recently they came to address a small problem without charging me a service charge. They also do chimney sweeping, I will be calling them back in the Fall to get my chimney going.

The guys at Jamison did a really good job on my basement for a reasonable price. The work was quality and quickly done. Steve Custus was particularly helpful and made the whole process go smoothly. They were the second company that came out to take a look and give an estimate, they definitely were more thorough and gave us a better price. I would recommend them to anyone who needed work done.

Comment: The installation crew was hard working but needed more over-sight , polite but I had to call them to come back out to move my items back against the foundation wall . Overall I was satisfied.

I had my Basement recently waterproofed by Jamison Waterproofing and after a heavy rain, I got a little water in my basement. I was thinking these guys were going to give me a hassle to come back out and make the repairs but, they did the total opposite . Steve sent his service tech out the same day I called to make the repairs and after a few rains, I can honestly say we have a dry basement

This is my 2nd time using Steve with Jamison Basement waterproofing for projects . I am a repeat customer because of the first positive experience. After this one I definitely will come back for another project. Thank you very much

I got quotes from 3 basement waterproofing companies. I eliminated one immediately (Mid Atlantic Waterproofing) because of their shady sales tactics, which I noticed later that others had also complained about on Yelp. All of the prices were about the same and they all offer life-time guarantees - the other company was also local and highly rated and I'm sure would have likewise done a great job, but I settled on Jamison because it seemed they had a more professional, efficient office staff (I could pay deposit via credit card on the phone, get a digital copy of the contract, etc) and they were also willing to include a drain from the basement window well into the perimeter drain. My only complaint is that we had scheduled the work - in writing and in person - for a specific date and then found out that the crew couldn't come until the next day. That set back our other contractor who was scheduled to start on the tile and drywall repairs as soon as Jamison finished. Ultimately, it was just a day delay and no big deal, but I was surprised about that given how professional this company was otherwise. I also want to note that the crew made a point of explaining what they were doing and how the system worked, and offered to throw away some broken furniture that our former tenants had left in the basement, which was really nice. I'm frankly still a bit skeptical that this waterproofing system will work after spending six months trying to figure out where the moisture was getting in and paying various contractors to do exterior and interior fixes. So hopefully I can come back here in 2 years and write a raving review about how well this worked for us, fingers crossed!!

Steve and Dwight were a pleasure to work with. We have a old home with a stone foundation and they put in a French drain, a dehumidifier that drains into the French drain as well as a vapor barrier on the walls. Work was finished in 2 days. We are very happy with the work and plan to get Jamison to do more work on our home in the future. (google review)

The installation crew worked very very hard . I was only satisfied and not very because they couldn’t get the system behind my water heater.

I am preparing to finish the small basement in my 1926 twin home by converting it to a guest space with a powder room. In the short time we’ve lived at our house, the basement hasn’t flooded, but I decided that if I’m going to the trouble and expense to install flooring, framing, drywall, etc., then I’d be wise to invest in a waterproofing system. Jamison was well-reviewed and located nearby. I gave them a call to schedule a consultation, and Steve was at my home no more than a day or two later, I believe. He walked me through different options, but suggested the typical solution for my basement; a vapor barrier combined with a French drain that would run along the majority of my basement’s outside wall (about 30 feet). He quoted the project at $3,000. Steve’s team came and were able to have everything installed within a working day. It was a loud process, but they left everything clean, and even took the time to lay down a paper walkway so that they wouldn’t track dirt and dust through the house. The end product looked nice. Unfortunately, just a few months later our plumber had to remove part of the French drain as part of a rough-in. Fortunately, Jamison came out again and repaired the effected part of the drain at no cost. Amazing customer service! So, we haven’t seen any moisture come into the waterproofed part of the basement since Jamison installed our system. Now, since we didn’t really have an issue before, it’s hard to say whether or not the system has anything to do with that, but at the very least it gives me peace of mind to know that there is a measure in place in case we were to ever get a big storm or snow melt. The basement still isn’t finished, but my hope is that when it is, it will feel nice and dry as a result of the waterproofing system Jamison put in. All in all, the customer service that Jamison provides is great. They are super responsive and stand by their work. I believe that we were also given the guarantee that if any of the waterproofed parts of our basement were to flood, Jamison would cover the costs. Something like that. Anyway, highly recommended!
