The challenge we faced was that we had to gut the entire basement because the water problem had been going on for a while, and mold was certainly growing behind the finished material, so we had to get down to the root of the problem.

To address this, Project Manager Steve provided a full GrateDrain drainage system with a full vapor barrier, along with complete encapsulation of the dirt crawl space. We even extended a downspout underground free of charge to get as much water away from the foundation as possible. The Walkers said they chose us over our competitors because we were the only company that was not pushy during the sales call. Now that the groundwater issues have been taken care of, they can refinish the space and add a new playroom for their children.
