These new Fort Washington homeowners contacted us at after their basement took on water from the recent rain storms.

The challenge we faced was getting this job completed before the new homeowners moved into their new home.

Project Manager Steve C. went out to provide the homeowners with a free basement inspection. During the inspection, the homeowners pointed out their areas of concern. One of these concerns was water seeping in at the floor-wall joint and under the basement entryway door. Based on these issues, Steve recommended the GrateDrain System. This system channels water from around the perimeter of the basement to the Grate-Sump, which removes the water far away from the home.

Steve’s inspection also revealed to the homeowners that there was a potentially hazardous dirt crawl space under their living space. He recommended sealing it off to improve the overall health of the home.

The new homeowners can now use every inch of their basement and crawl space for storage without fear of things being ruined by moisture.
