The challenges we faced were digging after a heavy rain the night before, which made for a messy and wet dig.

To address this, veteran Crew Foreman Dwight Custus went out to meet with the homeowners and recommended extending the sump pump discharge line 30 feet to the rear of the yard, so the water would be directed far away from the area the homeowners wanted to protect. Now the homeowners do not have to worry about the sump pump water flooding their backyard.
