Why did the customer contact us?

Michelle contacted us after finding herself often using a shop vac after heavy rains . When she first purchased the home she was told that she had a Dry Basement but that found out to not be true . So that's when she gave us a call at Jamison Basement Waterproofing !

Solutions provided:

The challenges we faced, besides the fact that she had a finished basement, were that the homeowner also had a second bathroom downstairs that we had to work around in order to install the drainage system properly.

To address this, we installed a full perimeter closed Grate-Drain drainage system with a new Grate Sump and 1/3 HP Fast Sump. We also installed a vapor barrier behind the finished walls and a Grate Trench at the door entryway to prevent any water from entering the basement from the Bilco doorway. This system offers a lifetime warranty. Now Michelle can have peace of mind and refinish her basement later down the line without the fear of it ever flooding again. She also has one year of free annual maintenance, during which we will return annually to clean out the Grate Sump and test the pumps for her. Problem solved.
