The challenge we faced was that it was a really nice finished basement, so we had to use extra protection to keep everything cleaner than when we arrived. Foreman Khain Carter took even more dust protection measures by running a negative air fan to the outside.

To address this, we replaced the homeowner’s original pump and liner that the builders had installed with a new Grate Sump with a 1/2 HP pump that even tests itself once a week. The builder’s sump liner was not even perforated to capture groundwater seepage like the new Grate Sump. It also comes with a clear check valve with a built-in pump stand, along with one year of free annual maintenance. Now the homeowners have peace of mind.
