The challenges we faced were that the dirt crawl space opening was not sealed properly, so we took it a step further by pouring concrete at the entrance and then encapsulating it properly to keep moisture from the dirt crawl space out.
To address this, Project Manager Steve went out on a rainy day and was able to see where the water was coming into the basement. Based on that, he proposed a Grate-Sump with a full vapor barrier because the basement walls also showed signs of water seepage. The vapor barrier will direct any wall leaks down into the GrateDrain drainage system, which will channel the water to the Grate Sump to be removed away from the home.
