The installation crew was hard working but needed more over-sight , polite but I had to call them to come back out to move my items back against the foundation wall . Overall I was satisfied.

I had my Basement recently waterproofed by Jamison Waterproofing and after a heavy rain, I got a little water in my basement. I was thinking these guys were going to give me a hassle to come back out and make the repairs but, they did the total opposite . Steve sent his service tech out the same day I called to make the repairs and after a few rains, I can honestly say we have a dry basement

I got quotes from 3 basement waterproofing companies. I eliminated one immediately (Mid Atlantic Waterproofing) because of their shady sales tactics, which I noticed later that others had also complained about on Yelp. All of the prices were about the same and they all offer life-time guarantees - the other company was also local and highly rated and I'm sure would have likewise done a great job, but I settled on Jamison because it seemed they had a more professional, efficient office staff (I could pay deposit via credit card on the phone, get a digital copy of the contract, etc) and they were also willing to include a drain from the basement window well into the perimeter drain. My only complaint is that we had scheduled the work - in writing and in person - for a specific date and then found out that the crew couldn't come until the next day. That set back our other contractor who was scheduled to start on the tile and drywall repairs as soon as Jamison finished. Ultimately, it was just a day delay and no big deal, but I was surprised about that given how professional this company was otherwise. I also want to note that the crew made a point of explaining what they were doing and how the system worked, and offered to throw away some broken furniture that our former tenants had left in the basement, which was really nice. I'm frankly still a bit skeptical that this waterproofing system will work after spending six months trying to figure out where the moisture was getting in and paying various contractors to do exterior and interior fixes. So hopefully I can come back here in 2 years and write a raving review about how well this worked for us, fingers crossed!!

Steve and Dwight were a pleasure to work with. We have a old home with a stone foundation and they put in a French drain, a dehumidifier that drains into the French drain as well as a vapor barrier on the walls. Work was finished in 2 days. We are very happy with the work and plan to get Jamison to do more work on our home in the future. (google review)

I was recommend to Jamison by Marsha P she highly recommend you also one of the estimates was from coulter when I told him I was getting other estimates he recommend you . The installation crew worked very very hard . I was only satisfied and not very because they couldn’t get the system behind my water heater.

Jamison came to look at our wet basement and provided several options for services that we could receive. It took a few days to finish up, but no water since! So thankful that this was an easy quick process.

Jamison Basement Waterproofing expect Steven Custus went out to meet with the Philadelphia homeowner. Steve recommended the GrateDrain closed drainage system to take care of the ground water problem, along with the GrateSump pump which can remove up to 2400 gph of water from the basement . To solve the moisture from the walls we first clean the walls with a mold neutralizer than we applied a moisture vapor barrier to the walls , this vapor barrier will channel any future wall leaks down into the GrateDrain system . Far as the entry door wall leakage we installed a GrateTrench to capture any water leaking from under the basement door . Now the homeowner has a dry basement ! 13year Basement specialist Steve Custus visited the homeowner and discussed waterproofing options and plans with the Homeowner. Steve was patient and thorough, he explained how each product would help the basement stay dry all the time . The Grate Sump and Grate Drain will take care of the ground water and the moisture vapor barrier will protect the basement from wall seepage. The installation crew installed a vapor barrier on the basement walls. The moisture vapor barrier is made with a thick plastic that keeps moisture out of the basement , and also prevents mold growth and wall rot. We also applied a Waterproofing coating to the foundation walls were we didn’t install a drainage system . Now the homeowner can use the basement for storage without fear of things getting ruined ... Project manager Steve Custus went out right away to do a full basement inspection and from that basement inspection him an the homeowner came up with the solution to prevent water from entering the home by installing the GrateDrain award winning sub floor drainage system . GrateDrain has large openings in it that allows water from the floor to easily enter and drain after entering the drain the water will be removed from the home by the homeowners existing Sump pump . To provide 24hr protection from pump failure and power outage we installed a battery back to give the homeowner peace in mind . Crew Foreman: Dwight Custus

Hello I have a ratified contract to purchase a home in Philadelphia and just recently had our home inspection. The Home has 2 crawl space areas totaling roughly 1600 to 1700 sq feet and a partial basement in between for mechanicals. 1950s rancher style home. During the inspection previous (possibly some current) termite damage and water intrusion in the crawl space. I am trying to get a ballpark estimate on crawl space repair and encapsulation. The Home has a sump pump in basement but current setup is not adequate. Appreciate any ball park guidance you can provide. Thanks again Justin

Hello, I am planning to purchase a 770 sq ft property in Bristol, PA 19007. I believe the crawlspace may need full waterproofing and encapsulation. Could you please provide a rough estimate or cost range for this type of work. The property is not in a flood zone or near water. Thank you, Ari

Hi, We just had a cracked waste pipe fixed in our basement. In the aftermath, we decided to get estimates for fixing our decrepit cement floor and crumbling walls in our 1893 rowhome in Brewerytown. You were recommended highly by Mike Mann - he had y'all work on his basement in Roxborough. Give me a call and we will set up a time for an estimate. Thanks, Chris and Laura
